Crafty Challenge in Two Scrapbook Friend Forum

Hi.. At Two Scrapbook Friends forum, it was my turn to throw a challenge.  I came up with a BELT BUCKLE challenge... You can use many different ways to use belt buckle embellishments, buckle, chipboard frame, pp, or metal. Just use your creativity...

Here's mine. I purchased a rhinstone Belt Buckle at Len Mills and it was a little bit pricey... I also made a card, using a piece of PP, with two different size square punches.  If you have some spare time, drop by the forum.  You will see many neat creations on the forum.

Friendzy Friday with Two Scrapbook Friends

Valentine's Day is coming near... so I thought I'd show you how to do Valentine's Day container

Create a unique container perfect for giving away candy or other small treats.

Supplies: Valentine's Day patterned paper by W R Memory, sticky strip, paper crimper, ribbon, sew easy twine, hole punch, and some kisses

Step-by-Step

Step 1:

Apply Sticky Strip to one of the short sides of the reverse side of the 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of patterned paper.

Apply another strip from the end of the long side until half way in.

Step 2 :

Remove the plastic liner from the Sticky Strip, but make sure to leave the backing on the Sticky Strip that is in the middle of one of the long sides.

Adhere the short ends of the paper together to form a cylinder.

Apply the last piece in the middle of the other short side of the paper.

Step 3:

Press the two sides with the Sticky Strip exposed together.

Step 4:

To reinforce the adhesive, slide the taped end into your paper crimper and slowly add two or three crimped lines.

Step 5:

Fill container with some kisses (candy or other small treat).

Step 6:

Remove the liner from the remaining Sticky Strip, then push the sides together in the opposite direction from the other end.

When looking at the container from the top, the two ends will form a +.

Step 7:

Crimp this edge of the container.

Step 8:

Decorate the container.
