Friendzy Friday with Two Scrapbook Friends

Happy Friday!  I am excited to do the Friendzy Friday tutorial to show how to do the Tie-Dyed stamped Images by using a baby wipe Technique.

Tie-Dyed Stamped Imaged - Baby Wipe Technique

The multitone effect was achieved by adding a few drops of re-inker onto a folded baby wipe to create a rainbow inkpad.  You then ink the stamp onto it and voila fabulous multitional result.

Supplies

·     Baby wipe
·     Two or Three Dye Re-Inkers
·     Tin, foam or paper plate (in my case, I use plastic toy box that my both boys outgrow it)
·     Solid or clear stamp
·     white cardstock

Step-by-Step
Step 1
Fold the baby wipe in half, and then fold in half again. Place on a plastic plate.

Step 2
Starting with the darkest color of re-inker, start adding drops of it on the baby wipe.

Step 3
With the second re-inker, add more drops to the wipe.
Step 4
With the lightest colored re-inker, fill in all the white spaces you have left on the baby wipe.
Step 5
Ink up the stamp using this makeshift inkpad.

Step 7

Stamp the image on cardstock.

Step 8
Finish your project with embellishment.

I hope you give these a try and be sure to show off your creations!

Mosaic Challenge at Two Scrapbook Friends

Good Morning,

Yesterday, I challenged scrappers like you on the Two Scrapbook Friends Forum to make a page or card with a collage of mosaic. This could be a good project to use up some of those pretty paper scraps you are saving. If you are like me it's hard to throw away a beautiful scrap of paper, I save them all for projects like this.  You can either use papers or photos to create a fabulous mosaic.

Let me show you my mosaic layout and card.

Hope you are inspired by this challenge and I'd love to see your project.  And also don't forget to upload it into our Two Scrapbook Friends galleries for everyone to check out your beautiful creations.

Happy Scrappy!

Sketch Challenge at Two Scrapbook Friends

I am excited to share my first sketch with you.  I have to admit, when we were informed that we are to create our own sketch, and  I GULPED.  I immediately asked one of my co-workers to help me out with photoshop.  I am still learning so please bear with me.

Here's my sketch

Here's my layout that I created for my Design Team Kit.  This collection; Kasiercraft - Cock-A-Doodle-Doo is so much fun … so full of bright colors, adorable embellishments and fun-to-design with patterned papers!   You’re going to be smitten with it all!    Laureen was kind enough to let me use one of her photos.    Thank you Laureen...

Hope you like this sketch as much as I do..  You can flip it or yet you can make a card.  Check out our forum and link up your projects there.  And also don't forget to upload them into our gallery for everyone to check out your beautiful creations.   I can't wait to see what you come up with!

Sketch Challenge by Sharon at Two Scrapbook Friends

At Two Scrapbook Friends, our Design Team, Sharon posted her very first sketch challenge on the forum.

Last night, my girlfriends and I did a "long distance online challenge" (We, four scrappers don't live near by Ottawa, Markham, Georgetown and Cambridge).     Laureen threw a challenge "tie-dyed" theme.  Laureen and I decided to do Sharon's sketch to combine with tie-dyed theme.

Here's my layout...

You should check out Laureen's blog to see her beautiful and colourful layout..

Crafty Challenge by Christa at Two Scrapbook Friends

One of Two Scrapbook Friend Design Team, Christa posted a colour challenge on the forum.

I created a baby card for my cousin and his wife.  They are expecting their first child, a girl in the spring.

ATC Swap at Two Scrapbook Friends

Two Scrapbook Friends hosted an ATC swap # 2 and we each chose an inspiration word to fully embrace in 2012.  In case, if you don't know what is ATC?  Artist Trading Cards, or otherwise known as ATC’s, are created in the size of 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches. These are small and self-made miniature works of art. Other than the size, there are no particular rules to follow. Combine different materials and elements to create unique and one of a kind cards.  12 of us particpated and we each created 12 same design ATCs and swap the cards on Janurary 31.  Today, I got an opportunity to pick up my ATCS and they are beautiful together.

1 - Joanne - Hope
2 - Laureen - Believe
3 - Sharlene - Dream
4 - JoAnn H - Create
5 - Jan - Breathe
6 - MaryAnn - Cherish
7 - Tanya - Courage
8 - Tory - Focus
9 - Jayne - Strive
10 - Kelly - Adventure
11 - Carolyn - Enjoy
12 - Ann - Intention

I created 12 "Dreams" ATC.  I had a lot of fun with this ATC swap.

Thank you for checking out my post.
